The Burlington County 4H Cloggers have been very busy over the past couple months.
We ended the 4H year with our big performance at the Burlington County Farm Fair, where we performed many dances and were joined by several alumni! Before the BIG performance, we had two members Kira and Terianne M. and their cousins help Prep the Barrels for all 4-H clubs to have a clean, one color barrel to paint. Our club participated in Paint the Barrels where we painted two barrels to be used as trash cans at the Burlington County Farm Fair. One barrel was a Cloverbud barrel and one was a Club barrel. We also had Cloverbud and Club pennants that were displayed at the fair, our pennants centered around the 250th birthday of our country. We participated in the Leaders Council craft challenge as a club and painted or decorated clovers for the tree in the county 4-H exhibit tent. We had a large, club clover that was displayed on a table with other club clovers.
We are looking forward our annual summer pool party at leader Reitta’s house which is a fun activity every year. We’re all looking forward to the start of the new year in September!
Reminder to all cloggers, be sure to work on your Project Book!
Fun Fact: The National Day of Clogging is on Saturday, August 8th.
