The club’s leader Heather Pearson, chairman, hosted the State Beef show at the fair. The show” Red, White and Beef “was a huge success. Member Sarah P. showed her calf “Winny” that she won in a national competition for an essay she wrote. This show included about 56 beef cattle from all over the state.
The state Dairy show was also fun for the members and included out of county 4-h kids. The club has 24 members that all participated in the fair. Projects included Beef, Sheep, Alpacas, Goats, Dairy Cattle, Tractors, Chickens, Rabbits. The three livestock tents were filled with beautiful project displays. The members had presentations to the public daily during the fair.
The milking tent displayed a tribute to Chris Hustus former 4-H leader of the Klassic Kows. The sign was placed in front of “Peaches” the jersey cow owned by the newly crowned 2026 farm fair queen Bella K.
The 4-H members participate in the tractor parade daily at 5pm. Many members drove their own tractors. A tribute wagon driven by 4-H leader Karen Hardy in memory of Chris Hustus was in the parade everyday with 4-H members riding on the hay wagon.
The week held events such as dressing the animal contest and the frog jumping contest. The farm fair was a huge success. Thanks to all the kids, parents, friends and volunteers.
