The Young Riders Club has been busy during the winter months preparing for the Model Horse Show, Horse Bowl and starting to plan for Farm Fair.
Brianna C. and Cheyenne P. from the Young Riders Club participated in the Model Horse Show on January 17th. Brianna was awarded multiple ribbons including a Grand Champion ribbon for her model horse display featuring the Diving Horses! Cheyenne was awarded a first place ribbon and two second place ribbons for her model horse display of The Trail of Tears. The Club received a second place ribbon for the County/Club Herd class and a fifth place ribbon for the County/Club Performance class.
Two teams comprised of club members from the Young Riders, Flying Changes, and Equine Science Clubs participated in the Horse Bowl on February 21st. Our teams did not place but learned a lot from this event.
Our club is looking forward to spring and spending more time outside with horses!
