Our Club recently had a class on tasting, peeling and cutting apples. We tasted three varieties of apples, Gala, Macintosh and Honeycrisp.
After peeling and cutting the apples, we were challenged to create a fun and “appealing” way to present the apple slices.
Within our teams, we were given oats and dark chocolate and trail mix to help add some color and texture. We learned that lemon slices helped to prevent the apples from turning brown.
Each team had made their own wonderful apple creations and we had fun snack!
