Saturday, April 6th was the first day of Trout Season. Burlington County’s fishing club, Hooked on 4-H, held a contest where whichever club member hooked the biggest fish of the day would win a new fishing pole! The winner was Abigail R. (pictured below) with her 10 1/2 inch trout!
And Saturday, April 13th was the club’s first fishing trip at Sylvan Lake in Burlington! Members say it was a very windy and chilly day, but everyone still came out at 8am to do some serious fishing! Though only little fishes were caught that day, no trout…
