Rutgers Cooperative Extension of Burlington County will host a spring pasture walk at the Burlington County Agricultural Center in Moorestown, NJ on Thursday, June 1, 2023 from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. Pastures and their management will be discussed broadly as they apply to all livestock. Topics we plan to discuss include:
- Stocking density
- Grazing management
- Planting decisions
- Fencing considerations
- Poisonous plants
- And more!

Logistics
There is no cost to attend. We will meet under the red market barn and begin the pasture walk promptly at 6:30 p.m. This is a working farm, so please dress appropriately with sturdy, closed-toe shoes. Long pants and a hat are recommended.
In the event of rain, we will host a pasture management discussion under the red market barn.
