In Burlington County Lockheed Martin 4-H Stem Club we have moved back to the original location in Lockheed Martin and are continuing to meet in person.
This year we have been working on the FT Simple Cub produced by the company Flite Test.
Each member was provided with a build kit, foam boards, a hot glue gun, motors, batteries, and controllers, all generously sponsored by Lockheed Martin. The image to the left is what we have built so far.
Once we have completed our builds, we will be able to fly our planes at the NJ Pine Barrens Flying Field in Southampton. Lockheed Martin has also generously sponsored each member of the club with an AMA membership for one year, an FAA membership (T.R.U.S.T.) for three years, and a membership to the New Jersey Pine Barrens flying field of one year.
We are thankful for the hard work and support of the mentors at the club who planned and helped sponsor all of the activities. We are also thankful for our mentors as they inspire us to explore various careers in the STEM field.
